DVAS, from the Tristar drill series is a new generation solid carbide drill that provides customers with three benefits, high efficiency, long life and a high precision.
New long length types, in 0.1 mm increments from Ø1.1 Ø2.9 mm, are now available to drill up to a depth of 50 times the tool diameter.
Main features of the DVAS Mini drills
- The advanced proprietary through coolant hole configuration tri-cooling Technology achieves a coolant discharge volume more than twice that of conventional models. Thereby dramatically improving chip expulsion and lowering cutting heat.
- Fracture resistance is improved by connecting the straight major cutting edge and web thinning with a smooth arc.
- The new xr web thinning achieves low cutting resistance and excellent chip breaking performance.
- The short drill uses a unique design that minimizes the length of the lower part of the neck. This feature improves rigidity and chip emissions simultaneously.
- An extra long type, 50 x D, is now available from Ø1.1 ~ Ø2.9 mm in 0.1 mm increments.
