The new BL chipbreaker enables good chip control during light and medium depth of cut machining.
Main features of the BL chipbreaker for the coated CBN grade BC8220
- Good chip control is achieved when the depth of cut is between 0.2mm and 0.6mm.
- The synergy of the two-stage rake angle and the dedicated honing realizes a low-resistance form and suppresses chatter.
- The chip is curled by the breaker walls thereby creating a stable chip discharge.
