THE PROCESS

EASY AND UNCOMPLICATED

What type of tools are collected for recycling?

MMC Hardmetal U.K. LTD. will take used carbide drills, end mills and indexable inserts.
The carbide tools do not need to be sorted.

Note: Please ensure that the collected carbide does not contain any hazardous substances or other materials such as steel and copper etc.

How is the recycling process started?

Please contact the local Mitsubishi sales team that will introduce the new MMC Recycling Service Team and recycling service.

The following documents will be sent:
a) The order form for receiving the collection boxes
b) The form for requesting pick up of the filled
    recycled  collection boxes

What to do when the collection boxes are full?

When the collection boxes have reached maximum capacity, they will be collected free of charge.

To activate a collection, simply fill out the collection form and send it back to the recycling service team by email:

If a collection form is needed the recycling service team will be happy to send a copy.

How to arrange for the collection of the boxes?
As soon as the collection form is received by the Recycling Service team, a date will be arranged by telephone or email to pick up the box.

 

When and how will the information about the quality and weight of the collected carbide be sent?

As soon as the box is received, the carbide scrap will be sorted and analysed. Then a report from with the exact weight and quality of the carbide will be sent.

Note: The value of the scrap will be notified within 
2 weeks of the collection date.

 

How does the repayment system work?

After the quality and weight check, the value of materials received will be sent using the agreed terms and conditions. To find out about current prices and the exact conditions, as well as the remuneration options, please contact the Recycling Team.

Note: MMC Hardmetal U.K. LTD. only remunerates the value of carbide scrap. If the collection boxes also contain other materials (e.g. copper or steel), it will be properly disposed of, but, it will not be included in the reimbursement value or be returned.

Note:

Materials with hazardous contents (chemical waste, including liquids or metal compounds) must under no circumstances be placed in the collection boxes.

If there are other types of carbide materials to be recycled (carbide dies or rollers etc.), MMC Hardmetal U.K. LTD. will be happy to make an individual offer.
