MITSUBISHI MATERIALS CORPORATION, Metalworking Solutions Company (Company President: Kazuo Ohara, Address: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has added 70 sleeves with coolant holes to MICRO-MINI TWIN series, a tool for machining the inside diameters of high precision and small parts. They will be released for sale on February 3^rd 2025.

MICRO-MINI TWIN, has been well received for many years as a tool that achieves both rigidity and precision when machining the inside diameters of small parts.

The addition of a sleeve used to mount a small diameter tool such as the MICRO-MINI TWIN on the machine is now available with a coolant hole that will improve lubrication and chip evacuation and will added reliability and precision by reducing tool wear.

Main features of the MICRO-MINI TWIN Sleeve

• The overall length of the sleeve is optimized for each machine manufacturer's model, so there is no need to shorten the shank.
   
• The coolant hole type is effective for discharging chips.
   
• Can also be used for small diameter boring bars.
   
• Four notch orientations allows for different fixation.
