Mitsubishi Materials España, S.A.U ("MME"), a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsubishi Materials Corporation ("MMC"), celebrated its 50th anniversary in February this year, and held a 50th anniversary celebration on May 11, local time.

The establishment of MME dates back to 1974, when MMC acquired management rights from MME’s predecessor, Metal Duro, S.A. (DURSA).
Subsequently, MME began manufacturing inserts in 1982 and drills in 1998, expanding its scale as the only carbide tool manufacturing base in Europe for MMC Group. MME is providing drills, end mills, and inserts to automobile and aerospace manufacturers in Europe by establishing a system to manufacture tools from metal powder, and is committed to providing the best service as well as fast and high quality products to our European customers.

MMC Group established "For people, society and the earth, circulating resources for a sustainable future" as Our Commitment. We will promote the expansion of resource recycling and the enhancing the supply of high-performance materials and products with the aim of realizing Our Commitment.
